Gay, Lesbian, and Unbent Education Network (GLSEN)

Pittsburgh’s GLSEN is located downtown on Grant Street. This nonprofit focuses on educating students about the issues surrounding the LGBT community. It also works to ensure a secure learning environment for all students in schools regardless of their sexual orientation. The Pittsburgh group is a chapter of the national GLSEN organization.     This 50+ support organization is a dynamic gathering constructed for individuals over the age of 50 who want to explore new activities, learn fresh skills, and enjoy camaraderie.

    Through a variety of engaging events and classes provided by Tidewater Arts Outreach, members can stay active, discover new passions, and erect lasting friendships in a amusement and supportive atmosphere. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others while embracing personal progress and shared experiences.
