You won’t observe many guys swimming in the sea. It&#;s not only because no one would be proficient to admire their bodies if they are submerged, but because there is the cold Alaskan current makes the water rather chilly. Even the surfers wear suits.

In short, yes, Los Angeles is viewed as a very gay-friendly destination. We felt very safe and very welcomed as an open gay couple in all parts of the city that we visited, not just when we were in West Hollywood.
