According to the Gay Times, 62% of British gay guys own been touched or groped in a bar without consent.
On episode four of their podcasts, James said he wasn't surprised by this statistic. “In my brain, that’s just normal gay customs. We go out and earn touched up, and touch other people. I know this sounds terrible but I’ve never considered whether I’m okay with it or not. I’ve been made to believe it’s normal."
Dan gave a recent anecdote that sheds light on a complicated issue: “I went on a overnight out to a LGBT place and I found it so uncomfortable. People wouldn’t stop touching me, it was horrible. But equally, I’m not gay and I was in their territory, so should I expect this?”

I love this podcast, wonderful banter between James and Dan, both really likeable guys. Only thing I do find frustrating is James often generalises queer culture that every queer man sleeps around and is promiscuous. Although I know it happens a lot there is a part of the society this doesn’t represent.
Not what it used to be. Lost its lustre.
All three stars to Dan Hudson, I don’t know how he puts up with James Barr’s constant patronising vitriol towards him. My fear is that it is actually because Dan is… a straight guy, and this whole podcast is a strange build of revenge fantasy for James. It’s as if every aspect of "straightness" bewilders and infuriates James enough that he feels justified tearing Dan apart for being a "member". Dan bats this all off with an huge well of patience and dignity, but really must everything he discloses about his life somehow relate to the "flawed" essence of his heterosexuality?
