According to Amnesty International, there are 64 countries with laws that criminalize homosexuality, some of which impose life in prison or even the death penalty. In countries with more protections, members of the Gay community still deal with persecution and discrimination when trying to get a occupation, find a place to live, access healthcare and simply live their everyday lives.
