We all recognize the stereotypes: an unusually light, delicate, effeminate wind in a little boy's step, an interest in dolls, makeup, princesses and dresses, and a robust distaste for rough participate with other boys. In little girls, there is the outwardly boyish stance, perhaps a penchant for tools, a square-jawed readiness for physical tussles with boys, and an aversion to all the perfumed, delicate trappings of femininity.

These behavioral patterns are feared, loathed and often spoken of directly as harbingers of adult homosexuality. It is only relatively recently, however, that developmental scientists have conducted controlled studies to identify the earliest and most reliable signs of adult homosexuality. Abstract

Objective

To identify how was the process of discovery of homosexual orientation in lesbians and gays.

Methods

Cross-sectional and qualitative study of homosexuals in Juazeiro municipality, Cear&#;, Brazil, by applying a semi-structured interview. Data were organized according to Bardin Assessment Technique and analyzed from the training category. It adhered to the ethical principles of research acceptance by the Research Morality Committee.

Results

The participants were 27 homosexuals (gays and lesbians). The interviewees revealed that in childhood there were the first manifestations of sexual desires and curiosities with individuals of the same sex, and having during adolescence, the definition of homosexual orientation as result of the implementation of the first lgbtq+ relationships. They revealed that the identity crisis they went through are not unique to homosexuality finding process, but are also present in adulthood as a result of prejudice and social discrimination, resulting in health problems,

Earliest signs of homosexuality in a baby? Am I gay? Yes a part of me is.

I was traumatised by my parents when I was very little because I was apparently male lover. How Do I Know If I Am Gay? Signs You Are Gay

Particularly when young, some people may ask, "How do I know if I am gay?" if they have conflicting sexual feelings. When it comes down to it, there is no reliable "Am I Gay test", so the only way to know that you are queer (definition of gay) is to look within yourself to judge your own thoughts and feelings towards others of the matching sex.
