"My Huge Gay Italian Midlife Crisis" made its original debut in December of at the Snapple Theater Center on 50th Lane and Broadway in New York City, where it was extended seven times and ran for two years.  In the show, character Anthony Pinnunziato is approaching his forties and is faced with the challenges of balancing his victorious company with past and present same-sex attracted relationships.  The interactive comedy of errors is actually arrange at Hard Rock Atlantic City during a weight impairment convention. Pinnunziato owns a company, "Body Body," and is there to challenge with other pretend weight loss companies while trying to stay out of trouble.

Since its inception, the Hawthorne Pride Alliance has sponsored an annual theatrical performance that helps fund its scholarship program. After a very successful run of  The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman last year, the HPA has decided to do a much more light-hearted dinner theater experience. This year’s film, My Big Gay Italian Mid-Life Crisis by Anthony J. Wilkinson, will be presented to the people on May 19th, May 20th, and May 21st at Due Fratelli Restaurant on Diamond Bridge Ave.

Anthony J. Wilkinson, who is the writer and originator of the My Enormous Gay Italian franchise, has been working closely with the cast as its consultant. Wilkinson was one of the Champions of Equality recognized by the HPA last year.
