Houston is home to a dynamic and storied queer history, which makes perception when you consider that the city is home to the largest LGBTQ+ population in Texas. Montrose is the unofficial “gayborhood” of Houston, and it’s been at the nexus of queer tradition in the city, as adv as the state at enormous, since the ’60s. Today, the neighborhood still retains its hallowed status as Houston’s premier Homosexual stomping ground, and that’s in large part because of the assortment of both historic and new gay bars in the neighborhood and its surrounding areas.



Dancing is the ultimate way to revive, celebrate, and uplift yourself and others—and a gay club is more than just a place to dance. With the exhilaration of a pulsing defeat and a gloomy dancefloor, you can meet others over a delicious cocktail or mocktail, and enjoy the help of community.
