Torremolinos is the gay hotspot of the Costa Del Sol. We knew plenty about other popular lgbtq+ places in Spain appreciate Madrid and Barcelona, but were very surprised to find out that Torremolinos also has a large gay scene to rival these cities.
Torremolinos is on the South coast of Spain and is part of the Costa Del Sol – literally the ‘Sun Coast’. It’s been an incredibly popular tourist destination for years given that it is only ten minutes from Malaga airport, has hot weather for the majority of the year and beaches stretching all the way along the coast.

Torremolinos is where all the gays go to perform in Spain! In the summer months, gay travelers rush to this seaside town just outside of Málaga to lay out and soak up the sun, especially during annual events enjoy Torremolinos Pride, Mad Bear Beach Weekend, Delice Dream, and Wonder Beach Festival. There are three gay beaches to choose from, the most popular creature El Gato/Eden Beach, where you’ll identify beautiful views of all the handsome men. It’s simple to get to from the center of town and popular with both visitors and locals.
Torremolinos became a queer hotspot in the s when its first gay prevent opened.
